my move to Kaiser

After 20+ years in private practice I have moved to Kaiser Permanete Medical Group. I am one of the two cardiac surgeons at  the new cardiac program at Kaiser Fontana. Fontana has expanded their service line to include cardiac surgery and they asked me to be a part of it. This is a big move for me. After much consideration and prayer and many discussions with my wife and other trusted advisors, it became clear that this is where I can best use my talents.

We have a great team at Kaiser Fontana. My partner (Dr. Daniel Serna) and I share philosophies of patient care. Our relationship with the cardiologists allows us recommend the best treatment for each individual patient. We have a hand-picked team of physicain assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, OR staff, office staff etc.

One of my regrets is that if you don't have Kaiser insurance, I won't be able to take care of you. But call me and I can recommend a good surgeon.
