Possibly. Your long-term health is more important than the length of your incision. And pain is not really related to the length of your incisions. I never want to compromise my ability to do an excellent operation by operating through a keyhole.

That said, we are increasingly able to safely do more and more through smaller incisions. Almost all of our vein harvesting is done endoscopically through a small incision.
