If you are the first case of the day, chances are you will leave your room of the pre-op area about 6 am. If you are a following case, the time is highly variable. In general, your loved ones will want to be at your bedside about two hours before your scheduled time. And I know it's difficult to wait around. But that's just the way the operating room functions. We don't want to delay any case, but sometimes emergencies interfere.
